How to Tell If You Have Hurd Windows
- Spacer between the panes — many Hurd windows show "Heat Mirror" printed on the spacer; the Hurd name may also be etched on the glass.
- Film between the panes — a faint, clear film suspended between the panes is typical of Heat Mirror glass.
- Side jambs — check for a Hurd label.
- Hardware — locks and latches may be stamped with the Hurd name.
