Common Marvin Window Repairs
Marvin windows — today's Ultimate, Elevate and Essential lines, and older Marvin wood, clad and Integrity windows before them — are built with quality wood and solid joinery. That's exactly why they're worth repairing. You'll find them in many of the larger homes in Barrington, Lake Zurich and Crystal Lake.

How to Tell If You Have Marvin Windows
- Corner of the glass — Marvin windows made after November 2003 have a laser-etched logo and product identifiers here, on the interior side.
- Spacer bar (older windows) — before November 2003, the silver spacer between the panes is engraved with the Marvin name; the last two digits show the year. Some 2000–2003 units have a clear label at the bottom of the glass instead.
- Jamb or top of the sash — look for a label or serial number.
- Frame material — clad Marvin windows are aluminum outside and wood inside; Integrity and Essential windows have fiberglass frames.

If your Marvin windows are fairly new, check the manufacturer's warranty first — some glass and parts failures are covered. If the warranty has expired or doesn't cover the problem, we can repair it.
